Including out trip to Poland! Needing visas badly, Rick and I are taking a few days and traveling to Lviv and then onto Krakow -- both cities reknowned for their beauty. It is supposed to rain which means crummy pictures, but I'm simply giddy to get out of the city for a while!
I'll post pictures and a summary upon return!
Wish you were here :D

hey Kimberly & Rick,
ReplyDeleteContrary to how you feel... I have found your blog very informative and interesting. It offers much more than a letter as it can include pictures of the things you find interesting. You are correct about letters however. They do seem to be more personal and connect two people in a way that the internet can't.
I feel that your blog is still the best way to "keep" those in your family informed on how things are going for you and Rick. I know you may feel that it's impersonal ...but that perception is one way. Your Mother and I look forward to see your most recent post. We look forward to seeing pictures that you post and talking to my Mom and others on my side the Family, they love to see your blog and catch up on your adventures in a strange land.
So... reconsider keeping your blog and using it to keep those of us on the side of the pond updated.
Please do send letters and pictures also... I would love to receive them.
I think the one thing that a blog tends to be is one sided. As you have stated it others don't post or comment to often... that is because a blog isn't as personal and anything posted can be seen by countless others. That is why personal letters seem to mean more.
Facebook... I have zero interest in getting involved in that type of communication. I, like you, find it way to public and with any online type of communication, things can be mis-interpreted very easily.
So... for me.... your blog is AWESOME... and I would appreciate the snail mail (with pics) anytime you feel the urge.
Take Care Kimberly... I love you very much and miss you everyday. :-)
I did find a very interesting group in Ann Arbor.... their website is:
http://deepspring.org/
I found the channeling of information from "Aaron". You can find his discourses in the library.
Anyway... say hi to Rick and let him know we miss him also...
Keep Trekking!!
